Where MWE
Came From.
MW Equipment didn't start in a boardroom. It started on a construction site, where Jordan — running his own demolition company — was losing hours every day to the same problems that nobody seemed to be solving.
Refuelling crushers and static plant with badly designed bowsers. Chains swinging near operators. Fuel tanks you couldn't move without a tow vehicle on waterlogged ground. The equipment industry had been making the same products the same way for decades, and the people actually on-site were paying the price in time, cost and risk.
"We needed something safer, tougher and easier to move fuel around without losing hours refuelling crushers and all the static plant. Without getting hit by a set of chains. After plenty of pub chat and proper discussions with John, we realised that between the three of us, we could design and build the products the industry really needs. That's how MW Equipment was born."
Jordan — Co-Founder, MW Equipment LTDIn mid-2025, Jordan approached George — whose background in welding, fabrication, heavy machinery and CAD design was exactly what the idea needed. They then connected with John, who had spent 25 years working in plant from agriculture through to construction, eventually running his own haulage and plant hire company.
Together, the three of them refined the concept, developed the MW Easy-Lift System — a patented integrated lifting frame that allows any MWE unit to be relocated by excavator, forklift or telehandler without chains — and brought the first product, the FuelBag, to manufacturing stage.
The FuelBag was the first product.
A 2,000L fully bunded portable diesel bowser that could be moved anywhere on site using the plant already there — no chains, no tow vehicle, no secondary machine. What started as a solution to one problem on one site became the foundation of a product range designed to solve the problems that site managers deal with every single day.
Where we're going
"Working with plant and equipment from an early age, I understand the challenges faced on construction sites. Through our discussions, we realised there are hundreds of potential products and everyday tasks that could benefit from our fresh thinking and innovation."
